I'm not sure which is more disgusting - the water park, or the fundamentalist justifications for it.

How many missionaries could be supported, how much of a tuition cut, how many hungry fed?

And I think it would be perfectly reasonable for the non-christians to argue that religious institutions should start paying taxes.

Well, for one thing the Supreme Court has held that the power to tax is the power to destroy. If churches can be taxed, they can eventually be eliminated.
